May 8th, 2021. A ministering Message Happy Mothers Day

Updated: May 13, 2021

To my dear family and friends.

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 9th is a special day set aside to honor our Mothers. I have been blessed to have a mother who was an angel on this earth and now is an angel in Heaven. I have also been blessed to have an angel Mother in law. My wife and I have the great privilege to have her living with us. I have also been blessed with 2 wonderful daughters, a daughter-in-law. Each of them are wonderful mothers finding their way with their children and spouse through this obstacle course of life. I'm so proud of each of them and love each of them with all my heart. And although my precious wife is not my mother. She is the mother of our children. Everything they and I have accomplished in this life is directly due to her. I love her with all my heart and hope and pray that she will continue to put up with me. It can't be easy.

I'm going to include a few small video clips honoring mothers. I invite you to take a few minutes, enjoy these and think of the special women in your lives that have affected who you are.

When we think of mothers we must think of Jesus Christ. He is the example whom all mothers try so hard to emulate.

Fathers how can we honor the Mother of our children. Show them by loving their mother.

What are some of the simple caring things that you can do to make Mother's Day a Happy Day?

President Kimball asked his wife to deliver a message to the women of the church for him.

I invite you to listen to sister Sheri Dew as she discusses "Are we not all Mothers"

Elder Holland Motherhood: An Eternal Partnership with God

It is my hope and prayer that this special day will cause all of us to be more grateful, more patient, kinder, and more loving towards our Mothers, Wives, Daughters, and our friends who happen to be Women.

I testify that your Father in Heaven and the Savior Jesus Christ are ever mindful of each of you. He loves his daughters so much. He created them with such that they seem to hear the whisperings of the spirit so much more than us men. They have a "mother's intuition" closeness to the spirit that is born within them. They are so close to Heaven when they give birth. I'm sure that our Heavenly Father stands near every time one of our earthly mothers gives birth.

For you sweet sisters who have not been blessed with children or the opportunity to have them. Fear not, the Lord has promised that blessing to each of you!

I pray that Heavenly Father's choicest blessings will be with all our sisters on this special day set aside to recognize. I further pray that we Men will honor and love these earthly angels every day of their lives. Not just on Mother's Day.

Love you all

Steven and Debbie Larsen

Now whether you have children or not. You are or eventually will be a mother in Zion!!
