7-13-25 Payson 10th Ward Missionary Coordination

I invite you to take about 5 minitues to listen to these songs about Missions and Missionary work. For are not we all called to serve?

The full time missionaries are trying to teach several people in our ward. I would invite each of you to do your best to develop friendships with not only your assigned families, but with all you live close too, have association with, or even wave to. Just create a new friend. Even a simple smile or a hello can work miracles and plant seeds that will grow.

"Think Celestial" what would Jesus do to make a friend. I promise you that you will receive the direction of how to do this with promptings and thoughts from the Holy Spirit!!!

Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God. He Lives!! He loves you. We are all converted to the Church. I invite you to join me in putting in the work necessary to truly become converted to Jesus Christ.

I invite each of you including myself to make and invite our assigned families, and neighbors to our ward dinner on July 19th.

I shared this last week and feel the prompting to share again:

May the good Lord bless each of you in your personal lives. May he bring peace, charity, health, revelations, and the righteous desires of your hearts.

Food for thought. Think of this especially when doing endowments in the temple: No I did not think of this. I read it on Face Book, but it says so much.

“Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me; ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (D&C 88:63).

Now read each phrase in reverse order:

• Knock.

• Ask.

• Seek.

• Draw near.

Now think of the veil. 🕊️

"The stake young men's president is in our ward, and he bore his testimony today. Last week he was driving on a rural road here in Idaho, and he was stopped by a herd of around 800 sheep. It took about half an hour for them all to cross, so he had plenty of time to watch them. He noticed that there was only one shepherd, but about six sheepdogs who followed his commands and kept those sheep in line. Once an animal even started to wander, those dogs would guide it right back.

The shepherd was on horseback at the very back of the herd, and he was guiding one sheep that looked as though it was having a hard time, maybe arthritic or injured. It was hobbling along, not able to keep up with the rest, but the shepherd stayed right next to it the whole way across.

And if one of the sheepdogs tried to get that sheep to hurry up, the shepherd would call it off, allowing the sheep to go at its own pace.

It was that last bit that got me.

We know that the Savior is our shepherd and that He will leave the flock to find the one lost sheep. But it wasn't until I heard this story that I realized that He also protects and safeguards our own journey back. No matter how slowly we are hobbling, He is there for us and will not support others in pushing us beyond what we can do or are ready for.

I know that I am one that is hobbled. My heart is so slow to respond to my Savior. I'm so grateful that he will work with me no matter how long it will take for my hard heart to become softened and fully become converted to Jesus the Christ! I love Him! I love each of you!
