In the last post that I wrote, I mentioned the special opportunity of two visits that I had made coupled with the humbling experience of being able to offer priesthood blessings to each of them.
Yesterday my good friend graduated home. He was taken off life support and remarkedly and what a great blessing it was he was called home only 30 minutes later. Oh, he will be missed but he made his mark in my life and so many others. God bless him and his goo family. We pray they will receive much comfort and support now and down the road.
Of course, sooner or later we will experience death in our family or with friends. It is never easy. Sometimes there is even anger at our Heavenly Father. I testify to you that he is more than willing to let you express that anger towards him. He loves you so much that He will often turn that anger in your heart, and melt it into pure love. It is one of His great miracles he reserves for His children.

Perhaps, I might share a personal experience. I have probably shared this before in an earlier blog, but I feel it appropriate to share it again now.
As many of you know my oldest daughter passed about 6 years ago due to the horrible disease ALS. I had the blessing and humbling opportunities to give her many many blessings during that process. In fact to be honest there were times I had hoped that others might offer her a blessing to give another perspective. But, at the same time, I was so grateful that she would express her desire and more so her great faith to ask for the blessing.
There were times when she would be attacked by the spirits of darkness. When we as humans are in a weakened state, they seem to attack more because it is harder for our physical bodies to fight them off. So, we would have to expel them from her person and out of her home.
There was so many time that my physical and spiritual eyes would see countless angels filling her home and around her. Ministering to her and each of us.
During all of these events and blessings, there was one very powerful and persistent thought the spirit through me pronounced upon her head. "You have a great and powerful miracle waiting for you, be patient and faithful". Wow, that struck my heart deeply every time.

It was not until the moment that our sweet and precious daughter took her last breath and went home to meet her Savior did I understand what that great and powerful miracle was.
Her passing left this mortal existence with her frail and damaged body behind. To await the resurrection where both body and spirit will be reunited. The great miracle of falling into the arms of Jesus Christ and "Larsen 101" then her Heavenly Mother and Father. After that, so many ancestors were there to greet her. I can't even imagine how great an experience that must be.

We love each of you, To my friend's family, and to each of you. Death is not a punishment no matter how you have lived. It is a glorious miracle. It is hard sometimes for us to understand, but a miracle nonetheless. Our prayers are with each of you going through this process yourself or with loved ones Pray to your Heavenly Father. Ask for His comforting spirit. Ask for the Angels of Heaven to be dispatched to help bring comfort and peace.
And understand, They who have left are not very far away. They minister to us, helping us improve our lives to get ready for the return and Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
God does live, Jesus is the Christ. They love you so much more than you can even imagine. Even if you a sinner like me, and not worthy of so many blessings. They are there no matter how deep into the holes of despair you might be. Reach out to them. They are waiting for you to simply ask.
