June 6, 2021. A ministering message: Prayers and Miracles.

My dear Family and Friends. My how time seems to fly by so fast. It has been a week already since I felt the impression to write a little in this blog. I do hope and pray that my meek efforts to write a little and include inspirational talks, music from others help you feel of the spirit and provides enlightenment and light to your soul.

Today I was sent a video link on Facebook Watch I want to share with each of you below. It is the testimony of my cousin whom I haven't seen for many many years. His story reminds me so much of the many stories my father would share with us. He too was an Airline Captain and had many many experiences that only prayers and miracles saved him and all his passengers. He was always concerned about the safety of his passengers. Many a time he would come home and express gratitude to his Heavenly Father for allowing him to finish his flight safely when he shouldn't have been able to.

I'm sure my family could relate with correctness his stories, I would not want to try to because I'm sure I would get the facts and details all mixed up.

But I invite you to listen to a couple of songs dealing with belief and miracles.

Now I apologize if advertising comes with some of the theses I thought I had that figured out how to not include those. Sometimes it works and others it doesn't. So please forgive me.

The Miracle

When you believe

The following is my cousin's story he is sharing. I'm so grateful is shared this. Even more, I'm so grateful to find he is strong and active in the gospel. Haven't had contact with him for probably close to 30-40 years.

Now I invite you to watch about a 3 minute excerpt from a talk by Jeffrey R. Holland

The miracle of hope. Jeffrey R. Holland

I now invite you to read from Mosiah 3:5-8. Which tells us of the greatest of all Miracles. The Lord Jesus Christ.

5 For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the aLord bOmnipotent who creigneth, who was, and is from all deternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men, and shall dwell in a etabernacle of clay, and shall go forth amongst men, working mighty fmiracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, causing the lame to walk, the gblind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases.

6 And he shall cast out adevils, or the bevil spirits which dwell in the hearts of the children of men.

7 And lo, he shall asuffer btemptations, and pain of body, chunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can dsuffer, except it be unto death; for behold, eblood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his fanguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.

8 And he shall be called aJesus bChrist, the cSon of God, the dFather of heaven and earth, the eCreator of all things from the beginning; and his fmother shall be called Mary.

Mosiah 3:5-8

Listen to the Tabernacle at Temple Square sing I stand all amazed. For truly I do stand amazed that the Lord was willing to suffer all he did. My part of His suffering is so much. I feel so ashamed that I have let the natural man control my life so much. I always plead for his forgiveness. How blessed we are that he loves us so much he will lo the Father and say I paid for their sins, please Father, forgive them and accept back your errant son or daughter. He paid the price for each of us. Our Heavenly parents and Jesus Christ love us with such a pure love. They do not judge as we do. And we judge so much more than we wver should. Accept our brothers and sisters on this earth as that. They are as much Gods creations as we are. We need to love them as they do us (our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ)

I stand all amazed

Now when you have some extra time I encourage you to come back and read this talk by Sister Elaine Dalton
